Are Shared Albums Private?
Yes! Shared Albums are private, which allows you to control over who can access them. Contributors will only be able to access your Shared Album through the QR code, email address, or web link that you share with them.
To provide an extra layer of privacy and control over your Shared Album, you have the flexibility to adjust various settings according to your preferences. Here's how:
Web
- First, click “Shared Albums” at the top of the Memento Home Page to get to your Dashboard.
- Click on "Album Settings" to get started.
- On the “Album Settings” page, you'll find the “Privacy” tab.
- Within the “Privacy” tab, you have the flexibility to customize the privacy settings according to your preferences.
iOS App
- If you're using the mobile app, tap on the Shared Albums tab in the bottom menu. From there, select your Shared Album.
- On the Shared Album Dashboard, choose the “Settings” option from the menu at the bottom of the page.
- Choose "Advanced Settings" from the "Album Settings" menu.
- The "Advanced Settings" menu offers various privacy settings to customize as you like.
