Are There Additional Shared Album Settings?

Yes! You can customize your Shared Album to match your preferences with a range of adjustable settings. Here's what you can tailor to your liking:

GENERAL

  • Photo upload approval: Opt for manual or automatic approval of uploaded photos.
  • Photo layout: Choose between a grid with featured photos, a waterfall, or a grid with thumbnails.
  • Sorting order: Arrange photos by date taken, upload order, file name, or random order.
  • Photo organization: Automatically sort photos into separate folders for each uploader.

SOCIAL

  • Photo interaction: Enable comments and likes on shared photos.

PRIVACY

  • Contact form for contributors: Allow contributors to send messages while keeping your email hidden.
  • Confirmation emails: Send confirmation emails to contributors after successful photo uploads.
  • Photo permissions: Control who can view, download, and upload photos.
  • Password protection: Secure your Shared Album with an optional password.

SLIDESHOW

  • Pause duration between photos: Set the duration (in seconds) for each photo during the slideshow.
  • Caption size: Choose regular, large, or x-large for caption size.
  • Watermark visibility: Hide or show the logo/watermark in the bottom right corner of photos.
  • Use full-size photos: Choose whether to use full-size photos for the slideshow (Note: This may impact loading times and photo orientation).

To access additional album settings, follow these steps:

Web

  • First, click “Shared Albums” at the top of the Memento Home Page to get to your Dashboard.

  • Click on "Album Settings" to get started.

  • Explore and adjust settings under the General, Social, Privacy, or Slideshow tabs.
  • You can also choose to delete your album from the Delete Shared Album tab, but please be certain, as this action is irreversible.

iOS

  • If you're using the mobile app, tap the Shared Albums tab in the bottom menu and select your Shared Album.

  • On the Shared Albums Dashboard, choose the "Settings" option from the bottom menu.

  • A menu will appear with options to adjust the album cover and details, gallery settings, folders, and advanced settings.
  • You also have the option to either archive or delete your Shared Album, but please be aware that once you delete it, it cannot be recovered.
