Rotating A Video Clip

Need to rotate a Video Clip that arrived sideways or upside-down? You can use the Rotate feature!

Quick How-To

1. Navigate to the video in the Clips section of the Dashboard
2. Click the Edit button in the bottom corner of the video.
3. Click over to the Rotate tab.
4. In the Rotate menu, push the rotate button to rotate the video in 90° clockwise steps until the desired orientation is achieved. 
5. Click Apply in the bottom right corner to save your selection.
6. When you create your Group Video, the video will be rotated accordingly.

Step-by-Step

1. Navigate to the video in the Video Clips section of the Dashboard. In this example, we need to rotate Video Clip #2.

2. Click the Edit button in the bottom left corner of the video.
3. Depending on the version of the Group Video Creator you are using:
   • Select the Rotate tab or select the which rotate icon to rotate

4. Click the Rotate button to rotate the clip:
   • If you are using the Original (Grid Style) version, Each click will rotate the clip in 90° clockwise steps. In this example, 3 rotate clicks were needed.

• If you are using the New & Improved version, there are individual buttons for each rotation (90°, 180°, 270°)

5. Click Apply or Done to save your rotation.
6. The video will only be rotated once in the Group Video. On the dashboard, when downloaded, and on your Record & Upload Page (if shared), it will remain un-rotated.
