Trimming a Video Clip

Would you like to shorten a Video Clip that someone submitted? Perhaps it ends with someone saying "How do I turn this thing off?" or it simply goes on for too long. This is precisely what our Trim feature is for!

Step-by-Step

1. Navigate to the video in the Clips section of the Dashboard.

2. Click the Edit button in the lower-right corner of the menu below the Video Clip.
3. Under Trim, use the slider to trim the start and end of the video.
4. Click Apply/Done to save your selection.
5. When you create your Group Video, the video will be trimmed accordingly.

iOS App:

From your Group Video dashboard, scroll to the Video Clips

1. Press the Manage Video Clips

2 . Choose the clip you would like to edit by pressing the three dots in the clip

3 . Edit the clip with the pencil icon.

4. Select the Trim button and use the sliders to adjust the clip to your liking, then press Save.
